and you wait in these chairs for the train to arrive! (The kids and I left Jeremy at home as he couldn't handle the cold after his surgery.)
Once aboard the train, they played music from the movie while you saw lots of fun Christmas lights and figure's. Snowmen, Elves, presents...
Here is me and Hadley enjoying the ride! She is obsessed with snowmen. Seriously.
We then were greeted by some elves at Santa's workshop where we got off the train. They had a room FILLED with toys and a train going around it, and also inside the workshop was Santa!! Boston was thrilled to once again see the old man.
Hadley... still scared to death of the guy, but loves the candy canes he gives!
They had us sing Silent Night while we boarded the train again. Then we went on a ride that had tons of pictures from the life of Christ. Starting with his birth and ending with the picture of the second coming. Each picture had props around it that represented the picture. Sheep, carpentry tools, boats... It was amazing. As I rode the train with my kids looking at all the pictures, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with the spirit telling me how much Jesus loves me, and especially how much he loves little children. It motivated me to want to be a better mom, and a better Primary President. Kids are so precious in his eyes, and should be in ours.
