Memorial Day

Our Memorial Day started out early at the Annual Memorial Day Breakfast in Woods Cross!  As always my parents were cooking up the delicious breakfast for 2,000 + people, and this year they recruited Jeremy to help!

Jeremy really enjoyed flippin' the pancakes!

My mom using the power drill to stir the pancake batter...

My Dad... The Kind of Pancakes

One of my favorite things is seeing/hearing the Bagpipes!

The kids absolutely loved watching the Life Flight helicopter land and take off!

They even got to check out the inside!

Of course we had to do the Youth City Council Fishing Pond too!  Most of all, I just love seeing lots of old friends and neighbors!  It is such a fun event!
-
My parents were so kind to suggest that Jeremy and I go golfing!  I was SO EXCITED!  I haven't been in over a year!  We went to my favorite Par 3 course and we had so much fun!  I almost forgot how much I absolutely love to golf.  Love it.
-

Then we met up at Natalia's grave.

It was good to be there together.  Just wish my brother and his family could have come.  I know Natalia always liked us to be all together.

We headed back to my parents for a BBQ.  This was the Jello Flag I made!

Oh my goodness.  We had the yummiest food EVER!  (Like always!)

Boston and Hadley got to choose their birthday treats and everyone sang Happy Birthday to them!

It was a really good Memorial Day.  I enjoy being together and thinking about those who have fought for our freedom, and those who have gone before us.

Let the Summer Adventures Begin!

The day after Boston graduated from Preschool the Summer Adventures began!!

We went to the Zoo with my Mom, Aunt Joyce, Cousins Tennille and Megan, and her kids Ty and Brooks!  Of course, the first thing we had to do was ride the train!

Hadley riding the Rhino!!

All the "Big" kids!

Dressing up is just to much fun!

They had so much fun at the playground!  We ended up staying at the zoo for like 4 1/2 hours!  It was a super fun day and a great way to kick off our summer!

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa!

While Jeremy was away at his Pirate Themed Scout Camp, the kids and I went to stay at my parents.  We always have way to much fun!

My Mom had an awesome Kangaroo Zoo Coupon so we finally took the kids.  They had never been!  Oh my goodness, they had SO MUCH FUN!

It was really good for Boston to have to be "Brave" and try things he was scared of.  He ended up doing everything and loving it!

This face shows it all.... she loves everything.

Of course he loved the basketball one too!

The next day we went to check out the sidewalk chalk festival on Bountiful's Main Street!  It is one of my favorite things, but I haven't been for 4 years!  It was so fun to see all the chalk talent!

Boston and Hadley voted for this Toy Story one to win!

My Mom and I once again worked on my High School scrapbook... we are almost done!!!  YIPEE!!

Class of 2012

Tonight was Boston's Preschool Graduation!!

He looked so stinkin' adorable in his graduation cap!

I am so grateful he is short... that meant he was on the front row!!  So we could actually see him!!

He did AWESOME singing all the songs and doing all the actions.  During God Bless America he really belted out "to the Oceans white with foam!"  I was one proud Mama.

He was SO EXCITED to recieve his diploma!

Boston showing off his paper doll... he wants to be a knight when he grows up.  For the incredibly realistic kid he is, this surprised me.

The graduate and his family!

Boston was super lucky to have his Grandma and Grandpa come join in the celebration!

Boston with his teachers Miss Robin, and Miss Emily.  We are sure going to miss them!!

What a wonderfully fun year of preschool it has been.  I feel like it just started... but now it is over!  Goodbye preschool... looking forward to kindergarten!  (YIKES!)

Ultra Sound Results

Jeremy and the kiddos and I FINALLY got to go in for our Ultra Sound today!  It was so comforting to see our baby and so wonderful to see that everything looks great!  Boston and I were right... It's a boy!  We are all so excited... except Hadley is a little mad, because "I want someone to sleep in my room!"  I am sure she will get over someday.  Now I can start shopping for my lil' guy!  Can't wait for October!

Pirate Scout Camp

Jeremy worked for hours and hours to prepare for his 2 day scout camp.  He had a pirate theme and made amazing posters to boot.

Here is the crew all ready to go!
-
While there they had some different challenges that they did in order to earn tools for the treasure hunt...

Finally it was time to hunt for treasure.  Jeremy spent hours making this amazing treasure hunt.

Where the end result was their lunch in the cooler buried 3 feet deep.  But before they got to that there was a treasure that talked about the REAL treasure being Eternal Life.  He said it was awesome to be able to bear testimony to the boys, while still having a great time.
-
I am always just happy when they all arrive home safe, and I am glad that Jeremy worked so hard to make it a meaningful, purposeful camp.
-
Since returning, Hadley and Boston have been going on treasure hunts all over the house with Daddy as their leader!  So adorable.

Hadley's Special Day

We started out Hadley's birthday with traditional birthday pancakes!!

Then we headed to Toys R Us where she got her free birthday balloon and crown which she loves! She picked out a bubble toy for her gift!  My favorite part of the whole trip was when we left the automatic doors opened and she promptly said "Thank you Sir."

Then we headed to a park that has the worlds biggest swings, they are so fun!

Then the splashed around in the fountain

Getting more and more wet with each splash!

Then we watched the cute baby ducks

Played at the park

and I think we officially wore the birthday girl out.

While she was sleeping Boston and I set up for her PINK birthday party!

While we were watching for Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa to arrive she played with her new bubbles!

The guests arrived, and we had a yummy pizza dinner on PINK plates of course!

She loved opening gifts.  She was just so excited she would just run around in circles!

Our little Rapunzel
Enjoying the love from Grandma and Grandpa!

We finished off of the night with PINK cupcakes, and Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Cones. I think she had a fabulous 3rd birthday!

I am so grateful we to have Hadley in our family.  There is NEVER a dull or quiet moment with her around! She is just so stinkin' funny all day every day.  She is a very creative girl and loves to draw and use scissors.  She loves peanut butter and honey sandwiches, fruit snacks, pretzels, and all things sugar.  Her favorite color is PINK.  She goes super fast on her pink bike and keeps up with her brother in almost everything.  She loves toys that she can put together like puzzles, links, and Legos.  Her favorite friend is Alexa. She loves Dora, and Elmo.  She loves to sing and knows tons of songs.  Right now her favorite songs are the apostle song, and latter-day prophets.  Oh how we love our Hadley Boo!
