September Sun!

We have throughly enjoyed the WARM september sun this month. We have spent lots of time at the park, riding bikes, playing baseball, practicing golf, and doing some sidewalk chalk.

All month long I have been thinking of all the songs that have the word "September" in! I know there is more... see if you can add one to my list!
Green Day- Wake Me Up When September Ends
Neil Dimond- September Morn
Earth Wind and Fire- September
Frank Sinatra- September Song
Daughtry- September

September Swim Party

It was so warm yesterday I decided to pull out the pool!!! Even though the top ring had a hole in, the kids still had a blast!
Hadley showing her new trick of standing, and taking a rest on her towel... of course bum in the air!
Boston and Hadley have so much fun together and love each other so much! Here they are drying off, and enjoying a popsicle. Because no pool party is complete with out one!
They both had a blast with this sprinkler toy too!
(thanks again Cat!)

Not your typical month for a pool party, but who knows, maybe we will have one in October?

She did it!!! She FINALLY did it!!!

We are just beyond happy at our house today!! Last night Hadley finally took her first steps at 16 months old!!! I feel like we have been waiting for this day for forever!! We had been so concerned about her motor skill development, but all the doctors/ nurses just decided that she had things backwards. She worked on her verbal skills first, and then her motor skills... backwards from most kids. Sorry the video's are dark, it was late at night...

Here is Hadley try, try, trying.

Here are those first steps!!!

Hadley Stories:
A week ago I came home from Macey's with a random can of tomato sauce... I thought it was rather strange, I checked my receipt and sure enough, I paid for it. So I came home the other day from Target, and found a pair of reading glasses... sure enough I paid for them. I finally figured it out. Hadley puts it in the cart. Boston puts it on the conveyor belt. Then Hadley makes enough ruckus during check out that I don't even notice! What a team!!

Another time at Macey's I looked down into the car cart where Hadley was sitting and she was eating a Mint Truffle she has pulled off the shelf.... another time at the dollar store I looked up just in time to see her rip open two packages of form stickers and see them fly everywhere! Luckily she has only cost me about 4 dollars...

Her vocabulary is unbelievable. She learns about 2 words a day. Some of my favorites lately have been Camille, Jeremy, Hadley, happy birthday, baby, fish and up up up.

Oh how we love our Hadley girl.

A PERFECT Night For A Round of Golf

Awhile back we bought some gift certificates off city deals for 9 holes of golf plus a cart for 9 dollars! Finally on Thursday night we were able to use them!!

The weather was perfect, the leaves were changing colors, and it was the most BEAUTIFUL course!!

We both had some really great shots, and a lot of really not so good shots... but we both had a lot of fun!! I am so grateful for my dad who taught me the game of golf. I LOVE it.

Mountains + Leaves + Golf + Jeremy = A Perfect Night.

**Pictures taken on a cell phone... hence the quality.

Baylee's Birthday Party!

Last Saturday we went to celebrate Jeremy's niece Baylee's 11th birthday!!
I can't believe how grow up she is! I wish she lived closer so she could babysit my kids, because they just adore her!

Jeremy, Boston, with Jeremy's Brother David and his son Tristan!

Hadley enjoying some chips! It sure was fun to see everybody again.

True Colors

I surprised Jeremy on Saturday morning when all 3 of us put on our BYU shirts!! He thought it was pretty funny. My kids have had Utah clothes, but never BYU. So I decided it was time to let them where the best color of all, BLUE!

Jeremy's Big Race

Jeremy decided to run his first offical 5K today!! He did the beat beethoven race that I did last year.

He did AMAZING!!!

With absolutly no preperation he came across the finish line in 25 minutes and 24 seconds!!

He was 22nd overall, and 9th in his division!

Daddy and his proud son!
Way to go Jeremy!! You are such an inspiration!!

Smore Night!

Last night we had some friends over for a BBQ and SMORES!!! We had regular marshmellos along with strawberry and carmel ones! I think everyone had a really really good time!!

Thanks Mower's and Bruce's for coming over!! Let's do it again soon!

BYU Creamery

So Megan went to BYU for 2 years and had never eaten ice cream at the BYU creamery. In my mind, that is a serious sin. I told her that she needed to fix that and fast! So on Thursday we headed to the creamy to enjoy the goodness!! I think she wishes she would have gone there more!!

Labor Day Weekend

On Saturday me and the kids drove to Pocatello Idaho for my nieces birthday... unfortunately I forgot the camera. We sure had a lot of fun splashin around at the pool! It was fun to see family and go back to the city where I was born, and listen to my parents reminisce.

Very last minute on Monday the kids and I decided to go on a hike with my sister-in-laws Megan and Jenn! We went in our "backyard" to this beauty. Second time we've been there this year!

Boston hiked the whole thing by himself with no complaints! I was super proud of him, especially since he had a cold.

I'm not sure if the kids love their Aunts more, or if the Aunts love the kids more! Thanks for the great hike girls!

Monday night we had a fire and roasted marshmallows!! The kids ate 3 marshmallows each and Hadley would have eaten lots more if I would have let her!

Glad I could pass on my love for Marshmallows!
The fire King!! We sure love having our fire pit!!

So despite our colds, we had a great labor day.

Swiss Days!

Every year Midway hosts Swiss Days! My friend Amy called me and invited me to go, and off we went!! We had a great time checkin' out all the fun booths, and eating the famous Swiss Tacos!! It was SO CRAZY BUSY, but I still managed to find and buy 3 fun things!! Christmas shopping early... that is so not like me.

For some reason the picture of me and Amy disappeared off the camera... So here is a picture of me and my sister-in-law Megan.
Thanks Amy for the invite! We had a FABULOUS time!!
