Water Monday!

What a WET and WILD Monday we had!!  The kiddos started their first ever swimming lessons.

Hadley had a HUGE smile the whole time and loved every second of it.  She was really mad when we had to leave.

Boston did amazing.  He LOVES the water, and is doing awesome!!

Then our friends the Bruces invited us to go to the Splash Pad with them!

Oh my goodness, the kids had a blast!

Soakin' wet and loving it!

Getting Older...

On Sunday night my parents had their monthly Family Home Evening.  Sadly, at the last minute Matt and his family weren't able to come, but we still had a really fun night.  My Mom made the BEST dinner and dessert for my birthday celebration!!  Mom's always know how to make it special!!  My Dad and Mom found me such a fun gift... Crayola Finger Nail Polish!  What a fun addition to my collection!!!

Surfing Utah Lake

Lucky Duck Jeremy as part of his calling was able to go boating out on Utah Lake on Saturday with his Scouts!!  They had a blast tubing, and surfing!!

Look at him go!!  Impressive!

Let The Games Begin!

On Friday morning I threw together some quick crafts and activities to help the kiddos get excited about the Olympics!  We had THE BEST day!

We colored pictures of the Olympic Rings...

Painted the Olympic rings with cookie cutters

Made Olympic Torches

Played an Olympic matching game

Made Fruit Loop Necklaces with our special edition Olympic Fruit Loops...

And decorated our Zucchini Brownies with the Olympic rings as well!

Our house was decked out and ready to celebrate by watching the Opening Ceremonies!!
I love days like this.  When I don't worry about my To Do's and just have fun!

Bee's Game

July 25th we headed out to the Bee's Game!!  I grew up going to Bee's/Stingers/whatever else they have been called games.  I just love going to a good baseball game, on a beautiful field, on a beautiful summer night!

The kids and I spent 1 hour in line to ride this train... I think I should get some kind of Mom award for that...
the view of the field from the train...
Jeremy should get some kind of Husband award for waiting so patiently for us to come back.  The Bee's lost, but we still had loads of fun!

Pioneer Day!

Pioneer Day was spent weeding, and washing windows.  As we were washing windows I couldn't help but think of this video...

That night we celebrated with pizza, root bear floats, and a game of crochet!!  A pretty low key holiday... but we had fun!

What a better way to end the night then with a beautiful rainbow!

First Fish!

For Family Home Evening we joined another family in our ward and headed up to Vivan Park in Provo Canyon.  We fished and fished!   I love fishing... I love the sitting by the water, I love the peacefulness of it, and I love everything about it until one is actually caught!  YUCK!!

Jeremy and Boston... waiting.... waiting...

Hadley just loving every minute of it...

Finally Jeremy got one on his line... he let Boston bring it in!!  I love this picture even though it is horrible because it was taken on an iphone in the dark, but I love Jeremy's look of disgust, and Bostons look of excitment.  So perfect.

Boston touched his fishy and then we set him free.

It was a really fun night.  I hope we do it again... and if we don't catch anything, I won't mind one bit.

Armatage Family Reunion

Last WEDNESDAY we headed out to Bear Lake once again!  This time for my Mom's side of the family reunion.
The first stop... Maddox.  I love eating there!  Not only is the food delicious, but I love the memories!  On our way to camp I realized something.  "Oh no, I forgot to bring Klennex's."  Hadley promptly solved the problem with "That's ok.  We will just have to pick our boogers and eat them."  With that problem solves, we continued on.

Next stop... up St. Charles Canyon in Idaho!  This is the place my Mom's family has been camping since I can remember.  I feel like I am at home here.  The kids wasted no time getting on their bikes and beginning the races while we set up our new tent!!

The best part about the reunion, is all the cousins to play with!

Hadley all on her own said "Take a picture of me on this tree!"  I couldn't resist.

The first day was spent setting up camp, and then eating a delicious dinner.

Something about the Armatage family reunion is that there is always WAY to much food, and everything is always WAY yummy!

After dinner we had our first "Grandma's Store."  Where kids and adults get to pick an item from the "store" to keep!  The kids especially love this part of the reunion!

The night was spent hanging out, cookin' smores, and just enjoying being together with crazy cousins!

Hadley slept better then she ever has up camping!!  Although, the THURSDAY morning she was up at 6.  We went for a walk, and came back to find some other early birds!
Cambria and her Grandma helped entertain Hadley until the rest of the crew woke up.

Jeremy used the morning hours to get some reading in!

My parents took Boston for a morning walk... and Hadley joined at the end!

After breakfast and all the preparations we headed to the lake!  Jeremy and the kiddos had a blast ridding around in our raft!

The sand was AWESOME!  The water was super high this year, and the sand was so clean and lovely.

Jeremy had a blast playing frisbee

Hadley enjoying getting "Dirty Clean"

After several hours at the lake, I was ready to head back to camp... these boys on the other hand could have stayed for hours more.  They both LOVE the water.

That night after dinner my cousins made this amazing Wheel of Fortune game for all of us to play!

It was super fun!!!  Once again we ended the night with Smores... my heaven.

FRIDAY, Jeremy and a few of the others headed out golfing!  Those of us left behind went on a hike to the top of the springs!  Along the way my Mom and Hadley found this fun tree!
The group at the top of the springs!
Me and my Hadley girl!
Boston with his hiking stick, at our favorite camp spot ever!

We hung out back at camp for a little while, then hiked to the other creek!  My kids are so lucky to have such awesome cousins!
Then the little boys did an airplane craft while the girls...

painted their nails!

and made pretty cards!

After another yummy dinner we had time to play some games!!

Oh my did we have fun, and oh my did we get dirty!!!

Saturday morning we woke up for our daily dose of Hot Chocolate, and then packed up and headed home.
Another fabulous Armatage Reunion!  I am so grateful to everyone who makes the effort to come!  It is so fun to be so close to so many of my Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins!
