We had our ultrasound done today, and are so excited to announce its a little girl!! The ultrasound was awesome! She was kicking up a storm, gave us the finger, and had no problem showing us she was all girl! Most importantly she looks really healthy! We feel so very blessed to be bringing another child into the world. I feel so spoiled to have both a boy and a girl!

Boston and Jeremy going for a snowy walk... he wasn't to into the sledding idea.
Matt, Logan, and Mason
Me, Boston, and Jeremy!

The Magic Of Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas we had. Boston really brought the magic of Christmas this year! It was one of the best Christmas' I've had since I was a kid myself. He had so much fun opening his gifts, and would say with so much excitement and energy "Car!" "Plane!" "Train" "Blocks" "hoop" as he found those surprises hidden under the wrapping paper. We had so much fun spending Christmas morning at our new home, then traveling to my parents and then to Jeremy's parents. What a fun full day of food, family, generosity, and love. Here are a few pictures to enjoy...

Although we got home late on Christmas, We couldn't wait to set up Boston's new Basketball hoop he got from Grandma and Grandpa G. He was in HEAVEN! This kid loves basketball!

He also got to open his gift from Grandma and Grandpa R. Grandma had made him this really cute ball. His grandparents sure know what he likes!

He Is The Reason For The Season

I love this Christmas season for so many reasons, but most of all because it helps me to reflect more upon the life of my Savior Jesus Christ. It was so fun this year to have Boston learn to say "Baby Jesus" and be able to point to him in the Nativity pictures. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ's humble birth, his perfect example, his self-less death, and his beautiful resurrection. All because of him, I know I too will be resurrected, and have the opportunity to live with my family forever. Sometimes in the Hustle and Bustle of the Season we forget the reason we are celebrating.

It Actually Works,,,

If you smother Vicks VapoRub or Mentholatum on your kids feet and then put socks on before they go to bed, it will provide a cough-less/nearly cough-less night of sleep during their worst colds. I tried it with Boston last night, and it worked wonders. Hopefully it will work for you and your kids too!

More Improvements

Jeremy has been hard at work again. He knocked out the tile in the windowsill and replaced it with a wood windowsill. He put up molding around the window, chair-rail molding around the room, painted everything, and purchased nice 2 inch blinds. Wow what a difference.

Boston

On Sunday Boston went to his 2nd week of Nursery at church. He loves it, and we love it too! I just can't believe he is 18 months old! I absolutely love this age. I love all of his little dances, his wonderful singing, the kisses, the hugs, and all the many many words he is learning. *These are a couple pictures that my sister-in-law took over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thanks Cassie!

-I'm sorry to post so many things in one day. When I get a chance to use the internet I have to take full advantage of it. -

Ballet West- The Nutcracker

Thanks to my cousin's Britt and Jeff we were able to go see the nutcracker for the first time. The best part was seeing their two daughters Lauren and Maddie perform in the show. Lauren danced with such elegance, and has such great expressions. Maddie stole the show with her tumbling routine that got a huge applause from the audience. It was fun to see one of their many talents.

There is nothing like a Christmas Train...

Over the weekend Boston "helped" grandpa put up their Christmas Train. He was shaking with overwhelming excitement.
Kids really do bring the magic of Christmas don't they...

Logan and Mason's 4th Birthday Party!! (For all those family members who know and love them)

We had so much fun at my nephews Star Wars Birthday Party! When we arrived we were greated by Darth Vader (Mason) OB1 Kenobi (Logan) and a Sith (Matt)

Boston had no problems joining in on the Light Saber fights!!
Logan and Mason had so much fun opening all their fun new toys and clothes
Their amazing dad planned the fun party, and even made their light saber cakes!
I can't believe Logan and Mason are 4! It seems like yesterday my sister we giving birth to them. Now she watches over her adorable boys from Heaven. I am so grateful to Matt, and my parents who take such good care of them.
We took a break from all the painting and housework... And dressed up nice and went to the Ward Christmas Party. I just loved this picture of my boys in their fun sweaters.

Be Careful What You Wish For...

Yesterday I posted about how sad I was that everyone around me seem to have snow, yet I had none. As the Chris Daughtry song Home says "Be careful what you wish for, cause' you just might get it all!" That's exactly what happened! We woke up to about 2 inches of snow, and now I think we are approaching 4 or 5 inches! I LOVE IT! Boston had a lot of fun "helping" me shovel the snow! I think we might need to get him a bigger shovel...

Downtown Fun!

I absolutely love looking at the lights on temple square. This year it was even better because it was snowing most of the time we were there!

It was so fun to take Boston. On our way there he saw so many of his favorite things saying "Bus, Train, Snow, Moon, Horse, and Car!"

While we were there he had lots more to say. "Cold, Lights, Star, Cold , Jesus, Cold, and Snow"

One of my favorite things this year was the floating nativity scene in the reflecting pool. It was a beautiful sight to see.

It was so strange for me to see all the demolition that has happened downtown. So many places I used to work at, shop at, eat at, are now piles of dirt. I can't wait to see the new downtown when its finished!

After our adventure to temple square we got to enjoy another Jazz game! Although they lost we still had a great time! Boston is getting really good at saying Jazz, Defense, Basketball, and Memo! He LOVES the games!

It really is the Most
Wonderful Time of The Year!

Living Room Paint Job

People have requested some better picture of our Living Room paint job.
Here is the Living Room before we purchased the home
Here is the Living Room now!
We love the paint color! It gives the room such a nice feel.

Now we are working on painting the Master Bedroom... step by step the house gets better and better!

Where is my snow?

The weathermen said 6" in the valleys. Well this is as much snow as we received. I can still see my grass! I am so very very sad. We even bought a shovel in preparation. North of us has snow, South of us has snow, but where is my snow?

If you are one of those people that hates snow, please ship it to my house so I can have a White Christmas!

Our Fun Visit With Santa

My Mom, Logan, Mason, Boston and I all went to go see Santa together. It was such a magical day, because It had been snowing all day!
Boston didn't like Santa...
But he sure loved the Candy Cane he gave him!
Logan and Mason were so cute with Santa. We had so much fun walking around drinking our hot chocolate and eating yummy cookies!
We ended the fun by going on a horse carriage ride! It was all so much fun, especially because it was all FREE!
