We Bought A House!

We are officially homeowners as of today, but the big move won't be until Saturday! I think it will be a great starter home. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and my favorite part is this a back porch that goes the whole length of the house! It's awesome!

For those of you that know where we currently live, it is just 4 minutes away for that. Wish us luck as we start a new adventure in our lives!

The Robot Family

We had our first Halloween Party on Saturday night at my parents house! The theme for the party was "Out of This Word!" So we went as Robots! We had a lot of fun making our costumes, to bad we couldn't stand to keep them on for very long!

My Mom went all out (as always) to make the party great! We had Delicious Space Burgers, and other Space themed foods, and then went outside to find "Asteroids" (candy/fruit snacks wrapped into a foil ball) hidden in the backyard! We then played cranium, only with star wars answers!

It was a fantastic party, but we sure missed having my brother Phillip, Cassie, and their kids there!

Boston's Vacation with Grandma and Grandpa!

Jeremy and I were able to enjoy our trip to San Diego Alone, because my Mom and Dad were willing to watch Boston for us! I think he had lots of fun with out us!
My Mom helped Boston paint these super cute Ghost's with his foot print!
Boston also got the chance to "ride" Logan's bike! He was more then thrilled about that!
He also experienced painting for the first time.
He loved the postcard we sent them
and loved playing with his cousin's Logan and Mason!

I think all of us benefited from our vacations! Thanks so much Mom and Dad for taking such good care of our little guy, and for giving us a wonderful break!

San Diego California!

Awhile back Jeremy found us some VERY CHEAP tickets to San Diego! So this past week we headed out to the sunny land of Southern California!

Our first stop was to Hotel Del Coronado... to enjoy the beach! It was the perfect day at the beach! We had lots of fun getting all salty and sandy, and even took a much needed nap!
______________________________

The next day we headed to the San Diego Zoo! We had lots of fun trying on hats, becoming bugs, and seeing all the fun animals! Especially the Panda Bear.

____________________________

After the Zoo we went to the San Diego Temple. We enjoyed our time there so much. It is a gorgeous temple!
______________________________

The 3rd day there we enjoyed Sea World! We loved the dolphin show
Sea Lion Show

Touching Star Fish, and Sting Rays
and of course the Shamo Show!
__________________________

Our last morning we went to the Cabrillo National Monument! The lighthouse was fun to see, but the view as absolutely breathtaking!
Thanks for the Great Trip Jeremy!!

Grandma and Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch

We had a fantastic weekend!! I loved seeing so many friends and family at my cousin Megan's Baby Shower, and also at my niece Audriana's Baby Blessing. Another fun thing we got to do this weekend was pick pumpkins out of my parents garden!

It didn't take long for Boston to point to the one he wanted, and say "Nano" I have no idea why he calls pumpkins Nano's, but there is no changing his mind.

The Jazz Are Back!

We are so extremely excited that it is Jazz season once again!! It was so great to watch them play the Lakers last night in their first pre-season game! The team is looking great and it should be another fantastic year of basketball! Don't worry, Boston already knows how to say Jazz!

What a Wonderful General Conference

I feel like I am echoing a lot of others who have posted about the wonderful L.D.S. General Conference this past weekend, but I too wanted to share a few thoughts and feelings that I had as I watched our dear prophet and apostles address us.

One thing that really stood out to me throughout the whole conference is that while the worlds teaches us to fear, the church teaches us to hope. While the world is teaching us that the worst is yet to come... Elder Perry said "the best is yet to come." Although we are in a very difficult economic time, and a time where there is so much evil, we know we will be protected if we obey the commandments, and follow the prophet. The church shines such a light during these dark and scary times. I know I need not fear, but rather be full of Faith, Hope, and Charity as President Uchtdorf taught.

I enjoyed conference so much, but now comes the hard part. Not just listening to their words, but doing the things they have asked us to do. My sister Natalia always wore a Nike ring. It symbolized to her that even if it was hard, or inconvenient to do something the prophets and apostles asked us to do, she would simply "Just Do It." I am trying to adopted her motto, and simply Just Do It, because I know by doing so, it will only bring me happiness and peace.

Boston's First Train Ride

Once again My Mom and I took the 3 boys on an adventure.

We rode Front Runner and Trax to meet my Dad for Lunch. All 3 of the boys LOVED the train. Logan and Mason could not hide their excitement for finally getting to ride the "people train!" I think Boston loved it, because he didn't have to be strapped into his car seat.

After enjoying lunch in the ZCMI Mall food court for the very last time (It will be closed for demolition after Monday) we took a walk through temple square! It was so beautiful, like always.

After all that walking in the HEAT of October we decided we needed an Ice Cream Cone! Boston was in heaven.
It was so fun for me to visit downtown again, and it was extra fun to get their by train.

*Sidenote: My nephews Logan and Mason appear on my blog often. My mom watches them during the day while their dad is at work, since their Mom (my sister) is in heaven serving a mission. Since they don't have a Mom to blog about them, I like to share pictures of them for those who know them to enjoy.

A Fun Day At Wheeler Farm

My Mom, my nephews Logan and Mason, and Boston and I took a trip to Wheeler Farm last Friday!
We had a great time looking at all the farm animals.

and "fishing" by all the ducks, and geese.

My Mom spoiled Logan, Mason, and Boston by letting them have their first Pony Rides.
Boston absolutely loved his ride!
We also enjoyed a picnic, where we found this fun tree!
When Logan saw this picture he said "The scarecrow is hugging us!" I think he is right! I loved watching all 3 of the boys light up with excitement as they saw and did new things. It was a great day on the Farm!
