Super Bloggy Blog Update!!

I posted a ton of new stuff today, in fact 10 new posts... a little bit of an overload I know! I posted a lot about Christmas, it is mainly for my journaling sake. So go ahead and brose down down down to see what's new.
Happy New Year!!

Christmas Family Pictures!

We had our pictures taken in our Sunday Christmas best! I wanted to share my favorites! Once again I think Cassie (sister-in-law) did a fabulous job!

Christmas Morning!

I can't believe how fast Christmas came and went. We were able to do and enjoy many things this holiday season. I was amazed at how much Boston learned about the true Christmas story. There is nothing better then when I hear Boston say "Jesus is my friend." or "Jesus loves me." Jesus is the reason for the season, and I feel so blessed to know that Jesus is my savior.
-
We had a wonderful Christmas morning at home, enjoying gift of love for each other. Their is nothing better then watching little children on Christmas morning! We were also very lucky to spend it with Jeremy's sister Jenn who lives with us.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Afternoon

I didn't take many picture of Christmas afternoon but we got together at my parents house for a delicous ham and potato lunch. It was so good. Then my kids got to open their gifts from grandma and grandpa, and then we got to open ours.. NEW DISHES!! Let me just say we were spoiled rotten. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Christmas Evening

Christmas evening we spent with Jeremy's Family enjoying some pot luck, sharing service stories, and of course the traditional white elephant game. Normally I am not a big fan of white elephants, but their family makes it so fun.

Some very nice and some very not so nice gifts to be found!

Boston loved having so much attention from his Aunts and Uncles. Hadley enjoyed sleeping... how she could sleep through the noise I will never know!
-
Boston and Hadley received ornaments that Jeremy's mom had sewn, and we all received ornaments from his brother in Texas, and from his grandparents in Missouri. He grandpa painted them while he was battling cancer, making the gift priceless.
-
It was truly a Merry Christmas as we enjoyed time with family, and reflecting on the Savior's birth, life, death, and resurrection.

Day After Christmas

The day after Christmas my family had a super fun party. We opened cousin/sibling gifts, ate a yummy lunch, and my personal favorite we went sledding!!!

It was a blast and a half!

Oh my yummyness!!

My mom and I got together a few days before Christmas and made lots of yummyness!! Something we make every Christmas is peanut butter cups, the are simply delicious! Oh how I love this season!

Scones and Hot Chocolate!

If anyone has been to our house they know we have a HUGE deck! It is the best part of the house. Jeremy hung some Christmas lights on it, and all December I wanted to have a Hot Chocolate and Scones party! Finally we did it! Jeremy a.k.a. Scone King

Jenn and Megan enjoying their hot chocolate!

Thanks to all those who made my dream come true, dispite the cold!

Happy 5th Birthday Logan and Mason!!

Sorry I am so behind in my bloggy world, but I wanted to post these pictures of my newphews Logan and Mason's 5th birthday!! Matt did a great job planning, decorating, and making another amazing cake. (iron man)

It's so hard to believe they are 5. It doesn't seem like that long ago I went to go meet the little guys for the first time. So much has changed in our lives and theirs in 5 years. We all miss their Mommy so much. It is fun to notice how much they are like their mommy. Logan has Natalia's amazing imagination, and stubbornness. Mason worries like his mommy, is very sensitive, and always wants EVERYONE to be together. Just like Natalia. Both of them love to play games, love Disneyland, and never want their shoes on, just like Natalia.
Happy Birthday Logan and Mason. We are sure glad you are part of our family, and that you remind us daily of your Mom whom we miss.

Christmas Sleepover

My family has had a Christmas sleepover since I can remember. We always would order pizza, watch a movie, play games, and eat lots of treats! This year my family decided it was time to start doing that tradition in our own families, rather then all together. Sometimes it is hard growing up and realizing that traditions have to change. We invited Jeremy's sister's Jenn and Megan for our Christmas Sleepover this year. They both have quite the game face!

We had to play spoons! A personal favorite!

Boston enjoyed everything from the pizza, to the games, but I think his favorite was...
when we pulled out Dance Dance Revolution from under a thick layer of dust. Boston has some serious dance moves!! (just like his father!)

Don't worry Hadley had a great time too!! I think we all did!

Trains, Hot Chocolate, and Mohawks.

Christmas is so magical for children, and for their parents too!
The other night we set up our Train. Boston was BEYOND excited. He was in heaven. His favorite thing to do is be a human tunnel for the train to travel through.

This picture makes me laugh. Boston is concentrating so hard he is sticking out his tongue. I think this comes from my Mom's side of the family. I know I've been caught doing it!

Another thing Boston has gotten from me is his love for toast dipped in Hot Chocolate. We have had this numberous times together!

Oh how I love him! I feel like I get to be with my best friend all day!

Does anyone know of a Mohawk contest for 7 month olds? I think she would win. It is an all nautral mohawk. Now gel needed here.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

My Mom and I took Boston, Hadley, Logan and Mason (nephews) to go see Santa Claus on Monday. This little circle of shops puts this Christmas activity together and it's all FREE! I love free. Our first stop was of course SANTA! All 4 of the kids were so brave! Logan and Mason were just beaming, the LOVED Santa. Boston was a little hesitant, but didn't cry! Hadley... well she didn't have a clue what was going on! Santa was incredibly awesome! He took a good amount of time with each of them and put in plenty of Ho! Ho! Ho's!

Our second stop was to go on a "One Horse Open Sleigh!" All the kids loved that too! This picture is my Mom and the kids anxiously waiting in line.

Our 3rd ,4th, 5th, 6th .... stops were at the little fire's they had set up to keep us warm! By each of the fires there was also free food! Sub sandwiches, Chili, Hot Chocolate, cider, cinnamon tortillas, popcorn, cookies, cheesecake...... SO YUMMY!
I am not sure who had more fun. My Mom and I, or the kids!

Traditions!

December is full of traditions! One of my favorites, along with millions of others is to walk through beautiful Temple Square!
Last Friday before we went to the Jazz game we took the kiddo's to see the lights, the nativities, and of course the temple. They both loved it! It is so fun for me to see how excited Boston gets when he sees a temple as we are driving to and fro. I hope he will always have a special place in his heart for the temple.
