In The Spirit of Thanksgiving

I know I post about the Mormon Messages often, but I LOVE THEM! They are great to use in Family Home Evenings! This one is actually kind of funny, especially the Mac and Cheese guy. Check it out;

Also while on LDS.org I found this great quote about Gratitude.

A grateful heart is the beginning of greatness. Gratitude builds humility as we recognize an act of kindness, service, or caring from someone else. True gratitude is a foundation for faith, courage, contentment, happiness, love, and well-being. Being grateful leads us to look outside ourselves and turn to the bestower of the blessings.

As we regularly express our gratitude to our Heavenly Father, we cultivate an uplifting attitude. The Savior has promised, “He who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious” (D&C 78:19). Bitterness, resentful feelings, or mean-spiritedness cannot exist in a grateful heart. Greater happiness is achieved as deeper gratitude is developed. http://www.lds.org/topic/gratitude/

I love this time of year where we get to focus on things we are grateful for. I am truly so blessed.

Ms. Hadley Boo is 6 Months Old... how did that happen?

I can't believe it, but it is true. Hadley is 6 months old today. Where those 6 months went... I don't know.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have her as part of our family.

We celebrated last night, with her first taste of cereal. To my suprise, she LOVED it.
Happy 6 months baby girl!

Cool Dudes!

My nephews Logan and Mason came and spent a day with us this week! They were cracking me up. They wanted gloves and sunglasses... what cool dudes.
Then we went to the park and all 4 of the kiddo's LOVED the swings!

Funny, Funny Faces!

Tubular!

They wanted to have their picnic on the Tennis Court.

We finished off the park adventure by jumping in the leaves! I don't know about everyone else, but I am LOVING the warm November weather! We have been to the park so many time this month!

For Boston's Biggest Fan's a.k.a. Grandparents

Boston LOVES to sing. We had our Primary Program this past Sunday and Boston was in the back singing along with all the other kids. To bad he won't be a sunbeam for another year. Here is Boston singing God Bless America in Honor of Veteran's Day.

After we recorded that, he wanted to sing more. So here are a couple more songs from Boston.

Halloween Post... Finally.

4 days later and I am finally getting around to blogging Halloween! We had a great night that included a party with both families. (sorry there are lots of pictures, and probably to small to see.)

Party #1- Garner Party- Candy Corn Theme

This is how we arrived to the parties. No theme with us. Jeremy- Intermountain Man. Camille- Witch. Boston- Doctor. Hadley- Ladybug

My mom throws great parties. The kids and I loved the candy corn bean bag toss, the bingo, and matching game! Dinner was SUPER cute, and SUPER yummy. I wish I would have got pictures of that...

Off to trick or treating... BOSTON LOVED IT! Especially since his 5 cousin's were there with him!

I just can't get enough pictures of her as a lady bug. So fun.
Party #2- Rogers Family
This picture pretty much sums up the party!

Boston loved trick or treating so much that he wanted to go again with his other 3 cousins. He got quite a haul...
Looks like a witch costume is pretty popular!

Here is my intermountain man in all his glory!
It was another great party, with another great dinner. Authentic Mexican Enchiladas! SO GOOD!
I have already begun stressing about costumes for next year...

Happy 1st Anniversary House!

To celebrate, Boston performed his own arrangement of "The Mountain Song."

It's been a good year, with lots of hard work on the house. Hopefully soon we will have our kitchen fully completed and I can share with you pictures of that TOTAL transformation!

Until then, enjoy Boston's love of music.
