Washington D.C. Day 5

This was our 1st full day to spend together!  Jeremy had no meetings and we had big plans... but since all of our plans were shut down we had to make all new plans!

We went to the Bearu of Printing and Engraving where they make all the U.S. dollars.  It was really intersted to see how they are made and how much is made each day!  CRAZY!

We took a beautiful walk over to the Jefferson Memorial

This was as close as we could get...

This is as close as our camera could get...

So beautiful!

We continued our walk on over to the new Martin Luther Kind Junior Memorial.

Jeremy really wanted to see this one and was really bummed we couldn't get any closer...

Still pretty cool to see what we could see

Jeremy loved this!  Here is the closed sign on the gate that people just moved out of the way to go see the Korean War Memorial!  It was hillarious how many peoople just didn't care about the gates and signs... this was before the mass amounts of security came out to insure no one was seeing anything!

Then we rented some bikes and went for a ride!

We happened upon this Marine Memorial.  Loved it.

Found a welcome to Washington D.C. Sign!

Visted the Georgetown University Campus!  It was SO BEAUTIFUL!  Amazing buildings!

Then we hit the shopping strip in Georgetown!  Loved it!  Here we picked up some dinner at an oriently version of Cafe Rio!  It was yummy!

The best part of the night woud have to be this shake.  It was amazing!  I want to go back just to get another shake!  What a fun day!
