Halloween

Hadley and I woke up the morning of Halloween with the flu.  It was such a sad sad day for us.  Hadley had beeing SO EXCITED for trick or treating and now she couldn't go.  It was terrible.

Jeremy went and saw Boston in his Halloween Parade at school!  Then my good friend Annamarie took him trick-or-treating for us.  I was glad he was still able to have a great day! 

We dressed Hadley and Cambridge up anyways, and had Hadley trick or treat with daddy in the house.  Look forward to a much happier Halloween next year! 

Hadley's Halloween Preschool Program!

My little pirate was so stinkin' adorable at her preschool program!  She knew every word and action to all the songs and was SO ANIMATED about it all!

Then they had a super fun carnival for the kiddos!  Hadley loved having Grandma there to watch her perform and do all the games!  I love our preschool!

Traditions!

I absolutly love the tradition of carving pumpkins!  My kids are getting old enough that they to are really getting into it!

Activity Days Daddy Daughter Date!

For our Daddy Daughter Date I simply copied everything I did for Cambridge's party.  Why reinvent the wheel right?   So they did a photo booth, bean bag toss, and pin the nose on the pumpkin games while everyone arrived!  Then after a quick review by the girls of the last 6 months of Activity Days it was time for some fun!

And the donut eating contest was hillarious! 

They all had a blast decorating their pumpkins! 

And they all seem to enjoy their treats!!  Every single girl came so I felt like it was a success for sure! 

I simply love my calling.

Leaf Picture Overload

One Sunday at the last minute me and the kids decided to go up the canyon for a walk! 

It was soooooooooooo beautiful!!! 

Boston loved seeing all the fishes! 

The colors were amazing.  Simply amazing.

We even drove the whole alpine loop!  It was sunny, it was rainy, and even snowy!!  I couldn't say oh WOW enough! 

 

 

 

Jr. High Friends!

Back in September we got together with some of my Junior High Friends!  It's amaing how 6 of us turned into  

21 of us!!  It was so fun to get together!  I am so grateful I have always been blessed with the best friends in the world! 

Witches!

I love love love going to Gardner Village with my Mom each year to see the witches and shop!! 

Cambridge thought it was all rather entertaining! 

Hadley was a super cute little shopper! 

 

She wasn't afraid of the witches at all, in fact she tried to squish this ones "Big Bum!" 

Halloween Family Home Evening!

My Mom is an amazing party planner.  For our October Family Home Evening/Halloween gathering she did the theme "Trick of Treat, Smell my FEET!"  Everything was based on feet.  The decor, the rolls looked like feed with almonds for toe nails, the sugar cookies were feet shaped, and our gift was a pair of socks stuffed with treats!  Even the lesson was about our feet and how we should always stand in good places, and be about doing good with our feet!  It was a really fun night as a family!!!

It is a long wait, but it is so much fun to be a little spooked and enjoy the ride!

Natalia's 31st Birthday

On October 16th we celebrate my sister Natalia's 31st birthday by doing 341 acts of service in her honor.  I love doing this, and I know she loves it too.  We sent our notes up to heaven and enjoyed being together as a family.  My neighbor helped me make some cute daisy chocolates to share, and we ate Natalia's favorites things Pizza Hut Pizza and Cookie Dough Brownies!  Miss her soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!
