It's coming! Spring is on the way, and I have a really bad case of Spring Fever! So does every other mom in Utah because we were all at the Zoo together yesterday! 
We went with lots of family and had so much fun! Boston didn't make a peep while we were there. I think it helped that he took a nice snooze in the stroller! I sure love the Bears, Monkeys, and Giraffes, but I HATE the snakes! 
It sure is fun to be a kid again!
Boston finally has a tooth! Yay! 
So I was feeding Boston his cereal this morning while watching the Today show and all the sudden Boston starts waving at the T.V. I looked to see what he was waving at and they were showing all the visitors waving to the camera on the set of the Today show. I started laughing right out loud, my son thought he was getting his own personal hello. He sure loves his new talent of waving.
A little girl a month younger then Boston taught him this new trick at church a few weeks ago. I am amazed at how much they can already learn from their peers. 
People kept telling me that it will go fast... I didn't realize how fast! I can't believe my little guy is 8 months old!

We had some down time between the weddding and the luncheon, so we rode trax down to the Gateway to cruise around! Doesn't Jeremy look so...well...different with his haircut! It's growing back though, Yeah!
Boston was able to play with Grandma and Grandpa Rogers and his cousin Taylor while we were gone! (Thanks a bunch!) Boston thought Taylor was so funny, especially when he sneezed! Boston did go to the reception with us, and I do have to say he looked pretty snazzy!
Tomorrow, February 5th will mark the 2nd Anniversary of my sisters death. I don't blog about this to make people sad, I do it because it is therapeutic for me. Although, I think we could all learn a thing or two from my sisters example.
Oh how I miss her, she truly was my best friend. She always gave people (including me) the benefit of the doubt and never judged them. 
She was a shinning example to me as she read her scriptures and wrote in her journal every night. Even up camping, or at a sleepover.
She always loved family. Whether that was the one she was born into, or the one she married into. She always had time for family. If someone needed her she was there. She was always trying to make sure everyone was nice to each other. She was the peacemaker. 
Our family isn't the same without her. We have this hole that will never be filled until we are all together again. It is now up to us, to live our lives worthy of that great privilege.
I think he is ready for another hair cut! I'm not sure if I'll let Jeremy touch him this time...(see lower post!)
As many of you know we share Jazz season tickets with my family. We end up going to about 10 games a year which is perfect! Boston screams and yells with the rest of the fans! It is quite funny!
The prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints passed away tonight. He died about 6:30pm at his apartment in downtown Salt Lake City surrounded by his family.
He was 97 years old. He has been the prophet for 13 years, and is the oldest prophet ever to have served. 
He will be remembered for his love for temples, and his desire for everyone to receive the blessings that can be available there. Before his presidency there were less than 50 temples, as of January this year there were 124 temples in operation. 
He will be remembered for his visionary idea for the Conference Center which now stands tall in Salt Lake, and holds 21,000 people.
He will be remembered for bringing the church into the media spotlight. Being interviewed by the most famous of reporters including Larry King, Mike Wallace, and many others.
He will be remembered for his visits with world leaders.
He will be remembered for his humor. He always knew how to make everyone smile and enjoy life a little bit more.
A very humble man, but a very powerful man who delivered this advice when I was in my youth;
I will miss him. I love him. I know he led this church by the power of God. I know he is not dead, but lives. He is alive rejoicing to see his wife whom he loved so much.

I love children's books, so from time to time I might recommend one that I have enjoyed. I loved this book because it reminded me of my childhood and playing in boxes with my sister, and imagining them to be all sorts of different things. I enjoy books where imagination is encouraged and this is exactly what this book does. This is a very simple book, with very few words on a page. Perfect for your little ones to enjoy!

In the last Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints General Conference, one of the apostles President Henry B. Eyring talked about how he had written in a journal every night asking himself "Have I seen the hand of God reaching out to touch us or our children or our family today?" About two weeks ago I took President Eyring's challenge on to do this myself, and have been writing a little something each night. It has become a huge blessing in my life. I am realizing how much God really does love me, and my family. It's sad to say, but I never really took the time to notice it until now. Each day, something sticks out in my mind as a blessing from our Heavenly Father. It might be as simple as I was able to drive safely to and from Woods Cross, or how my friend Emily came and took me out for lunch on a day that I really needed to get out of the house.
I am desperate to find a good workout I can do indoors and with a child around! I have been checking out the "Sweatin' to the Oldies" video's by Richard Simmons... frankly I need something different! If anyone has any good ideas let me know!
AFTER
Luckily Boston doesn't seem to mind getting his hair cut. I guess when you start getting it cut at 2 weeks old, you get used to it. He loves looking at himself in the mirror while 
Jeremy cuts it. I think Boston's favorite part is the fact that he gets to wear no clothes during the whole process!

Boston loved his DVD from Logan and Mason, and the other many nice gifts he received. After that we drove home on some very scary snowy roads and went to sleep!
Boston really enjoyed the wrapping paper, tissue paper, and his new toys.
After we enjoyed our own Christmas, we went to Jeremy's Family where Boston was able to meet up with his cousin Caydon who is passing him up in size! At Jeremy's parents we enjoyed pancakes with apple topping, and a heated white elephant exchange. 
After Jeremy's it was off to Camille's family where we ate so much good food, and both Jeremy and Boston received Jazz Jerseys from her parents! They were both very excited!
They also gave Boston a walker which he loves!
After all is said and done, we feel very blessed to have had such a nice Christmas. The most important thing was being able to celebrate with family and remember the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas!
