Memorial Day

We got to the Woods Cross Memorial Day Breakfast just in time to watch Life Flight Land. The kids loved it!

Hadley wanted to ride in it, while Boston would rather stay back...

Of course the best cooks in the world cook this meal... including my parents for the last 13 years... only missing one year.

The breakfast has gotten better and better each year! YUM! Can't beat this breakfast for a only a buck!

It was FREEZING though, so Jeremy and the kids quickly ate and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

While I got to stay and chat with 2 of my best friends. Love these girls!!

After the breakfast we chilled at my parents and went to visit Natalia's grave again. That's what memorial day has always been to me. It is a day to visit graves, and remember those who have gone before us, and those who have served our country and keep in free.

Family Pictures!

The Saturday before Memorial day my Brother and his family came down for the day! It was so good to see them! Phillip and Cassie arranged for us to have family pictures taken that morning. Cassie took all the pictures, and I love how they turned out. Here are some of my favorites;

How the family looks now...
How the family will look come July 8th, when Matt and Heather get married!

My good lookin' parents!

All the grandkids!

The Adults

Grandma and Grandpa plus all 10 grandkids!

The kiddo's once again.

After family pictures we went to visit Natalia's grave together. My Mom and I teamed up and made these pot's with Daisy's that hung on a golf club a few feet off the ground. It looked really cute. I wish I would have gotten a picture of it all finished and up at the grave. I love how her grave looks on memorial day. You can tell she is loved. I miss her so much.

The we went to a park for some lunch and playtime! Oh so much fun!

I forgot my camera that day, so thanks to my Mom for letting me still these pictures!

We even played a game of baseball, which was like a dream come true for me!! So fun! I am so blessed with such a great family.

Good Times

Logan and Mason finally had some time off of school so my Mom and I planned some fun spring outdoor things to do...
But this is what the weather looked like the WHOLE time they were out of school.

So we did some indoor activites instead. We went to the newly remodeled Church History Museum Children's area. It is FABULOUS!

It really helps the scriptures come alive as you play along side your children. So fun!

The learned some dance moves from Latin' America

Put on a few puppet shows

Played some fun church computer games, and so much more! If you live near Salt Lake, go and check it out! It is worth the trip!

After that we went to my Mom's house where the boys helped sew their own Capri Sun Bags! They turned out so cute!!

A couple days later they came down to my land and went Mini-golfing. We have passes to Trafalga, and I also had some extra cards for free mini-golf! So we went mini-golfing in their under the sea glowy indoor golf course! The kids had a blast, and so did me and my Mom!

Good Tmes. Good Times.

Let The Games Begin!

We have had so much fun going to our nephews and niece's sporting events the past couple of weeks! It is so fun to watch them play!

I also have two nephews Jordan and Peyton that are busy with T-ball and Soccer, and a neice Audriana who is in dance! They live in Idaho so I don't get to go to their events, but I do enjoy getting to see their pictures!!

I am so lucky to have so many neices and nephews... and such talented ones too!!!

BBQ Time!

Over 2 1/2 years ago we lived in a basement apartment in the Henriksen's home. Lucky for us, they are still willing to be our friends! They invited us over for a BBQ in their AMAZING backyard. Seriously you will never find a more beautiful, kid friendly yard anywhere!
The kids had a royal blast on the zipline!!

They enjoyed toys, the tramp, the playhouse slide, and sandbox!

Top picture: Debany peaking out the window with Hadley in the playhouse.
Bottom picture: 2 of their daughters who were my laurels... that are all grown up now! Sharyti's guys, Sharyti, and Saren who just got married!

It was so fun to get together and catch up! Can't wait to do it again!

Sunbeams!

Boston LOVES going to church each Sunday. He loves his teacher's Sis. Coombs, and Sis. Fullmer! They always do such fun things! Seeing the whole sunbeam class walking down the hall with these huge ears on was so hillarious! I am so grateful for a boy who loves to learn more about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Hadley's Birthday Festivities

Hadley's Birthday fun started the Friday night before her birthday. Jeremy had a camp out so me and the kids went and played.
We went to the park and Hadley enjoyed the "Big Kid" swings, and did so awesome!

Oh how we love spending time at the park!

Then we finished off the night with a Cold Stone Trip! Nothing Better.

Saturday morning was Hadley's birthday!! Of course we started off the day with delicious birthday chocolate chip pancakes!! Then we got ready to go to the party!

We had a cupcake themed party, and this was a banner I made. I used cupcake wrappers, and letter stickers. It turned out super cute. The best part was I didn't even find the idea on the Internet! It was original. That's rare.

I found these fun felt/sparkly cupcake stickers to put on the tables!

I spent way to long making 3 different kinds of YUMMY cupcakes and toppers! It was all worth it though, everyone LOVED them!

Let the party begin! We had so many of our awesome family members come!

We enjoyed a Sloppy Joe Dinner... and of course, lots and lots of CUPCAKES! After that a CRAZY storm came and we threw everything in cars and headed across the street to the church to finish the party!

We played a couple bean bag toss games!

The Bean Bag Toss turned into a photo opp. What cute cupcakes don't you think! (Don't judge my cupcake game, I made it in like 5 minutes so I know it's not that pretty!...)

She opened some gifts and was so cute about each one!! I just loved watching her be so excited about everything!

In fact, here is a video I couldn't resist sharing of her wearing her super girl cape that my Mom made. It was such a fun party, and we were so lucky to have such great attendance! Hadley kept saying, "Party Fun. Fun. Fun. Fun." By the time we got home, Hadley was so tired we decided to have her open our gifts to her the next day...

I would have to say her favorite gift from us was the Easel from IKEA. She LOVES to draw on that thing! Best 20 Bucks we spent!

I had to share this video too! I think the best part about her birthday was preparing for it. She was singing Happy Birthday to herself for a whole week before her birthday! She was SO EXCITED!

That concludes the 3 day celebration of Hadley turning 2!
