Now that the weather is (hopefully) getting warmer, you may be wondering what to do with that last packet of Hot Chocolate Mix! I received this fun recipe from my friend Margaret Wahlstrom that I thought I would share it. It would be really fun to make with kids because it is SUPER easy, and doesn't take a lot of time.Heat over to 375F.
3/4c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2c. sugar
1 egg yolk
Blend until creamy, then slowly add last two ingredients
1 1/2c. flour
1 packet (around 1 1/4 oz. hot cocoa mix.
Shape into 1 inch balls and flatten to 1/4 inch.
Bake for 7-9 minutes until set.
Optional Drizzle:
1c. chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. shortening
Melt chocolate and shortening in microwave for 1 minutes, and stir until smooth. Place in a resealable baggie and snip a tiny corner of the bag. Drizzle chocolate over cookies.
ENJOY!

Boston loved his Dad being the Easter Bunny. We were afraid he would be scared, but that was not the case!
Even I was able to get a little Bunny Love!
The kids didn't seem to mind Jeremy's decision.
Even Boston and Peyton shared a
We were so excited to have our nephew Taylor come visit us for the weekend!!
Taylor fell in love with the game of UNO attack! We played it probably 50 times!

Even in the freezing cold Jeremy and Taylor enjoyed shooting hoops together.
We loved having Taylor come and visit! He is such a good kid, and lots of fun!
Did you know that

We went with lots of family and had so much fun! Boston didn't make a peep while we were there. I think it helped that he took a nice snooze in the stroller! I sure love the Bears, Monkeys, and Giraffes, but I HATE the snakes!

We had some down time between the weddding and the luncheon, so we rode trax down to the Gateway to cruise around! Doesn't Jeremy look so...well...different with his haircut! It's growing back though, Yeah!
Boston was able to play with Grandma and Grandpa Rogers and his cousin Taylor while we were gone! (Thanks a bunch!) Boston thought Taylor was so funny, especially when he sneezed! Boston did go to the reception with us, and I do have to say he looked pretty snazzy!
