1st Day, 1st Grade!

 

August 19th was the 1st day of 1st grade for my big guy!  We started the day out with a 1 pancake

Then headed to school!  He was SO EXCITED to see all of his buddies!  Seeing him so happy and excited made it a lot easier on me! 

He had a great 1st day of 1st grade, and we celebrated with one of his favorite treats peanut butter bars! 

That night for dinner/Family Home Evening we talked all about being hard workers, and doing hard things, and that heavenly father wants us to go to school and learn everything we can! 

I stole this idea from a girl in my parents ward.  I loved it.  A great back to school dinner.
