California Dreamin' Day 3

Our first day in "real" Disneyland!!

We watched the Jedi Training Academy, and were sad Boston didn't get picked... but it was still fun to watch.

We loved the Nemo ride!! I was just amazed by everything... and how well done every detail is thought of.

Cruised around in Autopia

Enjoyed lots of snack breaks, and walking!

So many many great rides!

Boston LOVED the train!!

Me and the kids LOVED the tea cups!! (I made Boston and Hadley's shirts... total cost $4.00. Awesome!)

Jeremy took the kids to the hotel for a nap, and my parents and I cruised around Main Street! We saw Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln which was really cool, and we ran into this cute lady... MINNIE!! I was so bummed Hadley wasn't there, because every other time we saw her it was going to be a 40+ minute wait.

We just grabbed food in the park for dinner. Most of us had sourdough soup bowls which were amazing, and Boston had a giant hand dipped corn dog!

We then headed to Mickey's Soundsational Parade!! We all LOVE LOVE LOVED it! The music was so energizing, and it was so fun to see all the characters in their glory! Hadley especially loved the parade... and the parade loved her!!! She stood up and waved to each and every character... and in return she got SO MANY special waves, and winks, and kisses, and

a special one on one visit from Peter Pan!! He told her that he liked her bow! He gave Boston and Hadley 5's, and then hopped along his way. It was SO CUTE! I wish I could have got better pictures. Hadley is still talking about Peter Pan!

After we went on it's a small world and went to watch "The Magic, The Memories and You" on the It's a Small World Facade. NOT worth your time... we decided to bag that and make our way over to watch World of Color again!

On our way we saw these AMAZING Jack-o-Lanterns!

And Walt and Mickey! We left Disneyland to go over to California Adventure where the show was, but they weren't letting anybody in unless they had a Fast Pass for the show... so we tried to go back into Disneyland for some Ice Cream... but they wouldn't let us back in either. So we headed to Downtown Disney.

The kids had saved all the change Jeremy will bring home to them, and they were able to make a purchase with their money! Boston was in love with the Lego store, and picked a Lightening McQueen set, which he loves!

Hadley girl picked out this Minnie Mouse, and a tiny little grumpy doll... I tried EVERYTHING to convince her to buy something else in that HUGE Disney store. But she wouldn't have it. She wanted the "Mad Face Guy." You'll see grumpy posted later...

After our shopping trip, we went to Cold Stone which was right by our hotel and enjoyed a YUMMY treat!

Loved your post! It looks like you guys had soooo much fun. We had lots of fun when we went but it is so much better to see it through the eyes of the young! I would love to go with my grandkids. I bet your Mom and Dad had a great time with your family.
