Nightmare Express
I must say, I live in a great place. Always something to do! On tuesday night we went and rode the Nightmare express. This family in our town has this AMAZING little train that people can ride, with a track system that goes through 3 huge yards. For Halloween they make it a haunted train!

Stitches AGAIN? Oh dear...
On September 13th 2008 Boston received his first set of stitches on the left side of his forehead. October 17th of this year he received a couple more stitches right in the middle of his forehead. Poor guy!! I sure hope he isn't going to make this a every other year fall tradition.
I must say there is NEVER a dull Sunday around our place, and this one was no exception. I was doing my hair, Jeremy was at a meeting, and Boston was trying to get Hadley to chase him. While he was running, he tripped and fell right onto our brick fireplace... OUCH! The screaming began, the blood gushed, and the instant I saw it, I knew he needed stitches. So I got him cleaned up, bandaged up, and Boston, Hadley and I waited for Jeremy to come home. After only a few minutes he came and off we went to Instacare. Boston was screaming and crying and refused to go in. I told him that if he was a brave boy he would get a sucker! That did the trick. He didn't cry another tear. He let them do 5 numbing shots, and two giant stitches with no wiggling, crying, or whining. The doctor said he was the BRAVEST 3 year old he has ever seen! As we are leaving he said "I am the luckiest guy. I got two spiderman band-aids, and a blue sucker that matches!" He was the happiest guy alive. What a positive attitude!

Natalia's 28th Birthday
Today is my sister Natalia's 28th birthday. I love her. I miss her. I long to hear her voice and see her sweet smile.
I will spend her birthday serving in the temple with some of my family, as I know that is where heaven meets earth. I also know she is very busy in the spirit world helping people accept and learn the gospel. At the temple I can help someone whom I have never met, but perhaps my sister is teaching. I think that the temple is where my sister would want my to be today.
Elder Neal A. Maxwell has said "On the other side of the veil there are perhaps 70 billion people. They need the same gospel, and releases occur here to aid the Lord's work there. Though we miss the departed righteous so much here, hundreds may feel their touch there. One day, those hundreds will thank the bereaved for gracefully foregoing the extended association with choice individuals here in order that they could help hundreds there. In God's ecology, talent and love are never wasted."
I take comfort in knowing that Natalia is busy helping hundred's of people learn the gospel. I know she is a great teacher. Her tender-heart, her smile, her testimony, her valiant service I have no doubt has already touch hundred's, perhaps thousands, perhaps billions of people in the spirit world.

My Stake President Brent L. Top gave a very enlightening talk about death. I learned a lot by watching it, and my testimony was strengthened by watching it. I invite you to watch it too.
I finish my post today with words from Joseph F. Smith "We cannot forget them; we do not cease to love them; we always hold them in our hearts, in memory, and thus we are associated and united to them by ties we cannot break. . . . [They] can see us better than we can see them— . . . they know us better than we know them. They have advanced; we are advancing; we are growing as they have grown; we are reaching the goal that they have attained unto; and therefore, I claim that we live in their presence, they see us, they are solicitous for our welfare, they love us now more than ever."
I love you Natalia. Happy Birthday.

"G" Girls
Witches!
One of the highlights of fall is going to Gardner Historic Village with my Mom! I just love seeing all the silly witches!!
After the witch fun we went to Quilted Bear for some lunch!! It was so fun to go back there. When I was a teenager my Mom did a booth there and Natalia, my Mom and I would go quite often. The smell is still the same, and most importantly the chocolate chip cookies still taste the same!! The only thing that would have made our day better would have been to have Natalia with us.
The kids had a blast looking at the witches and Hadley would say "He He He" every time she spotted one. In fact, she has become so obsessed with witches that she carries a little toy one around the house constantly.

Go Cougars!
On October 9th, Boston and I were able to go to the BYU football game! Some of our family offered us the tickets and I was SO EXCITED!!! Boston wanted to go really bad claiming "I've never been to a football game before in my whole life." Jeremy couldn't resist his pleading and sent he and I on a date to the game!
We had a blast watching the game, eating some dinner, cheering really loud, and watching them WIN!

General Conference Weekend!
Oh how I LOVE General Conference Weekend. It is simply my favorite. We started the fun on Friday night with a Pre-General Conference Party! We invited some family and friends over for some dinner and of course SMORES! I think everyone had a really great time!
Friday night, Logan and Mason slept over. It was super fun to have them spend the night. In the morning, Jeremy and the kids created there own band. So funny. We had a good day watching conference at our home.

On Sunday we spent conference day with my family, which is always so nice. We ate EXTREMELY good food and treats, and enjoyed so much the messages spoken and visiting with each other. I love the motivation that conference gives me to be a better person.
