The Rogers Family Christmas Party

The Rogers Family decided to have their Christmas party the Saturday before Christmas.  Jeremy's sister Jenn took the lead of the party and it was really fun!

It was an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party...

Bet you can't guess who won, with his homemade sweater.

We ate good food, and hung out and visited.

Then the kids and then the adults did a white elephant gift exchange.

Then Jenn had asked me to be in charge of making gingerbread houses.  We all got on teams of 2 or 3 and went to town.

Boston focusing on that frosting/glue!

I think everyone really really really enjoyed the activity.  =)

It was great seeing everyone!

My Parents are Movie Stars!!

A kid in my parents ward asked my parents to got downtown so he could film them... being the amazingly kind people they are, the did it.  They didn't think much of it, but now their video has over 1,856 views!!  Lol!!  They are so embarrassed   They are the adorable couple at the end!

Lovin' My Downtown!

Last Christmas I didn't get to go see the lights at temple square... so this year I made SURE we did!

We bundled up and had such a fun night!

The kids loved the little nativities

All the sights are just so beautiful!!

Then we headed over to city creek and watched a special Christmas water fountain show!  It was SO AWESOME!!  We finally got to see the fire in the fountain that we had heard about!  Loved it!  That night we slept over at our cabin (aka my parents)

So in the morning we could attend the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert!

It was simply amazing.

I loved every single second of it, but the Candy Bomber (Gail Halvorsen)  part was my FAVORITE!!!   I don't think there was a dry eye in the room, when he was actually there on stage and in his original flight suit.  You can here more about that story here; http://www.mormonchannel.org/why-i-believe/42

So glad my parents won the "mormon lottery" so we could attend!  Thanks again Mom and Dad!

Passport to Fun!

This is quickly becoming a new favorite tradition of my Mom and I's.  Heading to the Grand American Hotel during Decemeber to check out their windows!!

This year, the kids got a very offical looking passport.  We had to go around to the differen't windows and figure out which language Merry Christmas was in and mark it off in our passports!

Along the way we saw a giant gingerbread house,

a pink nutcracker (that called for a girls only picture!)

When we completed our passports we took them to this divine bakery

and recieved a free cookie!

Then of course we had to visit the magical toy store!  Oh I just love this place.  Such unique treasures!

It was so funny. Cambridge was WIDE EYED, and so happy in the toy store!  It was like he knew he was in a kid dreamland!

The best part is the candy organ...

It was such a great day!  I am so  thankful for a Mom who loves adventures just as much as me!

Hot Chocolate

We had a few friends over for our traditional Hot Chocoalte and Scones!!  It was a super fun and yummy night!

Christmas Break!

I can not even begin to tell you how WONDERFUL it has been to have Boston and Jeremy out of school.  It has been so hard on all of us having Jeremy gone so much with school.  So the break provided me and the kids some much needed Daddy time!

He took each of them on a date!  Here Hadley is enjoying Mcdonalds with Dad!

Here is Boston on his date holding up a rather large Gingerbread house!

One Saturday my Girlfriends and I got together for Breakfast at City Creek (Some how I forgot to take a picture of that =(  but while I was there, Jeremy took the kids sledding up at Sugar House Park!   They had an absolute blast, and

Even built a snowball....

I mean a snowman!
Even Cambridge enjoyed some special daddy time!
It was such a nice Christmas Break having our Daddy back!
