The Latest Happenings

On April 17th Boston participated in the Hope of America performance at the Marriott Center.  It a really fun patriotic program and he loved being a part of it! (Hopefully I can get more pics and video from Jeremy someday)

This is the sight I see a lot.  My kids and their friends playing outside on their bikes/scooters.  Who knew our driveway was long enough for a race?
If the big kids are outside... Cambridge has to be too!  Riding his bike and holding some kind of ball.

This picture just melts me.  Cambridge wants so bad to play ball with the big boys!

This is the sight I found during finals week.  Jeremy passed out on the kitchen floor.   Don't worry he survived and is now in yet another semester.

I did this for Boston's teacher for teacher appreciation week.  I thought it turned out cute!

Because I love FREE so much we went to the grand opening of Rita's Italian Ice in Provo for some free Italian Ice!  YUM!  (no picture) Then because that's not enough treat for the day we went and got a doughnut for every A on Boston's report card at Krispy Kreme!  The kids LOVED watching the donuts being made!  It was a fantastic field trip!

and the warm doughnuts were amazing!

On May 1st and 2nd I had the opportunity to attend BYU's Women's Conference!  This was my 2nd year going and I just love it.  It is soooo nice to take a break from everyday life and have time to sit and think and ponder and feel the spirit.

A couple of highlights were hearing from Elder and Sister Cook, Sherri Dew, Stephanie Nielson, John Bytheway, and Emilie Parker's Mom (Emilie was killed at Sandy Hook), and a musical concert with Hillary Weeks, Jenny Oaks Baker, Josh Wright, and Hudson Lights!

Favorite Quotes: "He rarely moves the mountains in front of us, but he always helps us climb them." -Sherri Dew

"It's impossible to be a disciple of someone you don't know." -Sherri Dew

"Love is the key ingredient to Happiness!" -Elder Cook

"The most important thing you can do for your family is to love them.  Show them love." -Elder Cook

Elder Cook was also very firm and powerful  when he said "Primary aged children need to be taught about the dangers of pornography."

One of the most powerful talks for me was Jenet Erickson who talked about not only cultivating a mothers heart, but a mothers voice.  I really need to work on my Mothers Voice!

While I was gone...
Cambridge figured out how to drag a kitchen chair over to sneak into the treat cupboard...

Jeremy took the kids to Trafalga!  They loved it of course!

Glad they have such a good Daddy!
