While Jeremy Was at Scout Camp...

The kids and I spent some time with my parents!  We went shopping in Park City, fabric shopping for baby boy blankets, made Hadley a super cute 4th of July skirt, scrapbooked, ate at Kneaders, visited with our friend Jill and Merrill, and spent a fun day at Discovery Gateway with my nephews Logan and Mason!  Thanks Mom and Dad for the fabulous visit!!

Crazy Fun Summer Day

Yesterday was an eventful day!

We started our day at the Library Summer Reading Kick-Off!  Silly Gilly came and told stories and sang silly songs.  The kids loved it!

The we headed to the park for a cousin craft/adventure/play date!  I was in charge this time.  We met at one of our favorite parks, ate picnic lunch,

then we made Popsicle stick flags, ate patriotic taffy, and these cute Rice Krispie Treats to celebrate Flag day!
-
Boston also had a Tball game!  He had two outs on 1st!  He did awesome!

We came home to find our mountain on fire... YIKES!  The firefighters were amazing and they knocked it out pretty quickly.  The kids loved watching this helicopter fly by at least 50 times.

We are definitely having a crazy super fun summer so far!

More of Boston's Birthday

On Friday night Jeremy and Boston went up to the Father and Sons Campout.  A really nice boy in our ward let Boston ride his scooter... like the whole time.  Boston LOVED it, and had so much fun playing with the big kids.

Jeremy impressed everyone with his scone making skills... all those years working at Winder Dairy!

Boston spent his birthday morning up at the campout with his buddies, and then fishing with his Daddy.

Once they got home, we headed out to 7 Peaks.  It was a really windy day, but we still had lots of fun!

We came home and let Boston open his gifrts!  What a lucky guy!

My favorite part of the whole day was watching Boston look at Hadley's card she made him.  He was SO SWEET.  He said things like "Wow Hadley, what a great drawing.  Look Mom and Dad! Thank you so much Hadley."
Jenn and Josh were in town and stopped by!!  The kids were super happy about that!

Then we all enjoyed some cake together!

The next day I made Boston his birthday pancakes, because I was super sad I couldn't make them for him on his real birthday!

I think he had quite the amazing birthday!

Happy 5th Birthday Boston!

Today is our Boston's 5th Birthday.  I couldn't be more grateful for this handsome, smart, sensitive, helpful, talented little man.  He melts my heart.  Happy Birthday Buddy!

Boston's Birthday Party

For Boston's 5th Birthday, he had his first friend party!  After much debate, he finally decided on a Water Party!

We started out with the Basketball Challenge!  The kids had to throw 4 water basketballs from one buck to the next!

Then they had to see who could save their boat 1st from the iceberg!

They love love loved the water balloon games!  Especially throwing them at Jeremy!

Then they had to use these super fun squirters to save some super heroes stuck in yet another iceberg!  They LOVED this game, and the squirters were by far the biggest hit of the party!

Then we headed to the front to play some water hopscotch and

do some slippin' and some sliddin'!

Then it was snack time!  We had goldfish, Swedish fish, gummy sharks, blue drinks, and popsicle's!

His friends brought him the nicest gifts ever, that he has played non-stop with!  He is one very lucky lucky boy!

Some of the decor...
The party was nothing Pinterest worthy, but Boston said "That was the best birthday party ever!" So I would consider it a huge success!

Zoo Trip- With Special Visitors!

I know your probably thinking "Why in the world is Camille posting MORE pictures from the Zoo!"

Well this time, we had some very special visitors come with us...  My Niece Audriana, and my Nephews Jordan and Peyton whom I hadn't seen in 6 months!  Also the new exhibit was finally open with the brown bears, polar bears, sea lions, and otters!  It was such a fun Zoo trip!

One of my favorite parts of the whole day was seeing all 5 of them break out dancing at the same time to some overhead music!

What cute little Bald Eagles...

At the Polar Bear Exhibit.  Sadly, we only got to see it for like 3 seconds and then he went into hiding!

The famous drinking fountain!

Gotta love the Carousel!

So much fun!

Two of the cutest things I've ever seen hatching!

Chocolate Pudding Break!

Let the Games Begin!

Tonight was Boston's 1st T-ball game of the season!  He was soooo excited and kept reminding me about the game all day!

We had baseball pizza's for dinner to celebrate the special occasion!  I was feeling like a pretty cool Mom, until we got to the game and it was FREEZING cold.  Here my kids are in shorts and t-shirts with no jackets.  Awesome :(  I no longer felt like such a great Mommy.

Once Boston was on the field he could have cared less about the weather.  He was just loving every minute of it!

The tongue of focus...

Superman run!

Awesome fielder!

This year we are lucky enough to be on the same team as Boston's friend Porter!  So fun!

The highlight of the night came as we were driving home and Boston said  "I LOVED my 1st T-ball game of the season. I really liked getting a treat, but the best part was getting to hit the ball!"
