Girls Weekend + Boston

Last weekend Jeremy was at Northstar training Friday-Saturday, and my Dad was at the Father's and Sons, so my Mom and I got together for a Girls weekend... since Boston isn't a girl I thought we would call it a Girls Weekend +Boston.
Boston helped Grandma make pancakes for breakfast! Rocket ship shaped of course!

Hadley was thrilled with the idea!

What did my Mom and I do the WHOLE weekend. Sew. Sew. and Sew. We made 7 new bibs with a fabulous pattern my cousin Megan gave me!

We made 14 scripture cases. What a pain. I am sure learning my lessons. We have been giving these to our kids for their birthdays in Primary... it was my turn to make the next bunch. Oh my, I was CRAZY to do this. Way to much work. Oh well, my Mom and I had lots of fun just sewing and chatting. YIPEE for Girls Weekend!

What a fun weekend to spend with your mom. Got to love sewing projects. Congratulations to Matt. Very excited for him.

Seriously, if you don't cut it out soon, I'm going to end up in Hell. Not because of anything I did, but just because I don't make scripture cases for the kids in primary or even stop to think about the kids in primary! How am I ever supposed to catch up!?!? (And don't tell me it's not about comparisons, we all know someone's got to win!)
