Did you know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a blog??
http://newsroom.lds.org/blog/
Check out this article. It links you to 5 of the church's offical facebook pages that are ranked among the top 100 in the “Church/Religious Organization” category — including two in the top 25.
“With so many social media resources and a multitude of more or less useful gadgets at our disposal, sharing the good news of the gospel is easier and the effects more far-reaching than ever before,” said President Uchtdorf at the Church’s April 2011 general conference.

Hadley Boo Turned Two!!!
How time flies. My little girl turned 2!! I wanted to get this post done for Hadley's Birthday, but 3 days later I am finally getting it done! I wanted to share some pictures from her 2 year photo shoot! A super huge thank you to my sister-in-law Jenn who took these super last minute! I LOVE how they turned out!
The many faces of Hadley...
-
Things I want to remember about Hadley on her 2nd Birthday!
- LOVES to sing!! The songs she loves to sing are; ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Popcorn Popping, Once There Was a Snowman, I'm Trying to be Like Jesus, I am a Child of God, I Love to See the Temple, Book of Mormon Stories, Baa Baa Black sheep, Muffin Man, I'm a Little Teapot, and Wheels on the Bus.
- Is VERY creative. She is always creating something. Example: When she eats something, she takes a bite and then announces what she has just created such as a dolphin. Then she takes another bite and her food is now a new shape! She loves to color, paint, play with play doe, and make lots and lots of mess's!
- Is very Kind. She is very sensitive to other's feelings, and if she knows Boston wants a toy she has, she usually always gives it to him.
- Is getting smarter by the second. She can count to 10. (most of the time!) She knows most of her shapes (her favorite is the crescent) and colors (her favorite is pink!)
- LOVES nursery... now that's new! During sacrament meeting she would start SCREAMING as soon as the closing song was over because she knew nursery was coming... but now she screams if we walk past the nursery room without putting her in there! She LOVES it!
- Doesn't watch a lot of T.V. She doesn't have much interest in it. She will watch Signing Time, Baby Einsteins, Elmo, and Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
- Her favorite foods are chocolate, ice Cream, Suckers, crackers, pretzels, chips, baby food pears, yogurt (which causes her a rash), cheese, peanut butter sandwich's, hot dogs, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and scrambled eggs.
- Her favorite places to go are Grandma's House, Church, Macey's, Alexa's House and The Library.
- She loves to read books, play hide and go seek, go to the park, play in the dirt, put herself in time out, play with toys, play the piano, ride her bike, and anything that her best friend Boston is doing!
- She has a real love for animals. Especially dogs. I really have no idea where this comes from.
- She always sleep's with her favorite blankets and her monkey and doggie.
- She is full of energy, very loud, and is very silly. She is always making everything into a joke! She is very emotional... definitely a girl!

Hope of America
The kids and I were able to go to Jeremy's Neice's performace "Hope of America."
Here is the star of the show... BAYLEE!!!
This flag is made up of 5th graders in Utah County. So cool! They sang TONS of fun patriotic songs, and had local performers that performed too.
Hadley LOVED the show. She was dancing the whole time.
Boston was trying so hard to copy every action and sing every line just like the big kids.
We were even lucky enough to get to sit with my brother-in-law Michael and his GF Lindsey.
-
It was a way fun night. I sure wish my video's would load... Baylee and the rest of the kids did such a great job!

Mother's Day
Mother's Day was Busy, Busy, Busy. First off we went to church and for the first time Boston sang with the primary for Mother's Day! It was the best present ever!
Here he is singing his song!
After church we went home and grabbed some lunch and Jeremy and the kids gave me some wonderful gifts! Their cards were my favorite! Nothing better then I love you Mom written by a 3 year old.
Then we hurried off to visit Jeremy's Mom! We had a very nice visit. I am grateful for her faith, patience, and love.
Then we went to my parents house for a yummy dinner and dessert! I am so grateful for my Mom. She is my BEST friend! She is the most generous, selfless, fun person ever!-
It was a wonderful day being able to see our Mother's who have taught us so much!!

Hadley's 1st REAL Haircut
Since Hadley was born we have cut her hair many times. We meaning Jeremy. He would just trim the mullet that kept growing. Well Hadley's hair is starting to grow more evenly, and I thought it was time to give her a real haircut. So Hadley and I went together to my friend Amy who always does such a fabulous job on my hair. Hadley was so exited, she said "Amy cut my hair" at least 30 times the morning before our appointment. She did so good to hold still and let Amy do her thing!!
I love how it turned out!! (to bad I only have cellphone pics) Thanks so much Amy, Hadley keeps saying "Hair Beautiful!"

Mascara, Ketchup, and Best Friends
I decided to take a shower while the kids were awake today... never a good idea. Hadley so quietly got my mascara out, and tried her very best to put her makeup on. OH DEAR!!! Do you have any idea how hard it is to get waterproof mascara off an almost 2 year old? Lucky she only got it on her face and hands, not a drop on her clothes or anything else!
At lunch today, she chose a different medium to cover her face in... Ketchup.
So my friend Jennie and I finally got together this afternoon to go for a walk, just like old times. We hadn't seen each other for weeks! Her son Porter totally made my day when the first thing he said to Boston was "Hey Boston, did you dream about me last night?" I laughed my head off. On our walk Porter had his arm around Boston for awhile, and I had to snap this photo with my phone. To cute!
Girls Weekend + Boston
Last weekend Jeremy was at Northstar training Friday-Saturday, and my Dad was at the Father's and Sons, so my Mom and I got together for a Girls weekend... since Boston isn't a girl I thought we would call it a Girls Weekend +Boston.
Boston helped Grandma make pancakes for breakfast! Rocket ship shaped of course!
Boston helped Grandma make pancakes for breakfast! Rocket ship shaped of course!
Hadley was thrilled with the idea!
What did my Mom and I do the WHOLE weekend. Sew. Sew. and Sew. We made 7 new bibs with a fabulous pattern my cousin Megan gave me!
We made 14 scripture cases. What a pain. I am sure learning my lessons. We have been giving these to our kids for their birthdays in Primary... it was my turn to make the next bunch. Oh my, I was CRAZY to do this. Way to much work. Oh well, my Mom and I had lots of fun just sewing and chatting. YIPEE for Girls Weekend!
Date Nights
We started something new last week. Once a month we are going to have kid date night. Jeremy will take one kid, and I will take the other out for a date. We know how much kids need one on one time, and we know how important it is to create great relationships with them. As they get older this will be even more critical I think.
Hadley and I spent our date watching horses, playing at the park, and of course getting Ice Cream! Boston and Jeremy went to Trafalga Liberty Land and did mini-golf, go-carts, airplane rides etc.. they didn't get home until 10:00! I think next time we might have to set a curfew!
I am really excited about this new goal!! Hadley and Boston LOVED their dates and can't wait to go again... and either can I!

What a Happy Easter Indeed.
Why do I start out my Easter post with a picture of my brother-in-law Matt in a mini-van?? Well because if you know Matt, you know something must be wrong if he is driving a mini-van. Nothings wrong. He just got engaged to the mini-van...
Actually the mini-van's driver! Her name is Heather Todd, and we are so excited to welcome her and her 3 children (Lissy, Spencer, and Michaela) into our family. They got engaged on Friday and announced it to all of us at the Easter party. I am really happy for Matt, because he is so happy. I am happy for Logan and Mason because they are so happy too! So now you will know who they "new" people are in my pictures from family parties!! With that introduction, I will proceed with Easter... Saturday morning the kids slept in, Jeremy went off to a Scout Pow Wow, and then as soon as he got back we headed out to my parents for an Easter Party! We started off with a delicious Baked Potato! My mom always makes this cute bread bunny!!
The we took the opportunity to take a few pictures... A family picture minus my brother's family who couldn't come. =(
The kids trying so hard to pose for a picture... but just ended up crashing!! They were all laughing so hard! From bottom to top: Spencer, Mason, Logan, Michaela, Boston, Hadley, and Lissy.
We did an Egg Toss! The egg's weren't breaking on the grass, so we headed out to the driveway...they didn't last long after that!
We played Bunny Tag
Don't Eat Peter Rabbit! I Love this game. Boston was doing so good then he stopped and said I'm done. He was to afraid of everyone yelling don't eat peter rabbit! Hopefully he'll enjoy it next year. Hadley loved the game because it involved eating M&M's!
Played Easter Bingo!
Then it was off to the Egg Hunt! I love how my Mom and Dad do this. Each kid has their own color to hunt for! Hadley loved finding all of her PINK eggs!
Boston did a fabulous job finding his eggs this year! So much fun!
I just love egg hunts! After the kids were done, they hid some eggs for us adults to find! They did a pretty good job of hiding them!!
The kids had so much fun playing together. Here is the little drummers!
Lissy was so nice to push Boston and Hadley on the swings. Hadley has been waiting all winter to swing on Grandma and Grandpa's swings!
We then celebrated Matt's Birthday with my Mom's heavenly Oreo/ice cream dessert! YUM!
By the time we got home, it was late and the kids were so tired. But we decided to let them open their Easter Baskets anyways.
We like to get them something fun, and something spiritual. Boston and Hadley got some picture scripture story books.
Boston LOVES his new baseball mitt and ball! He is practicing hard for his first t-ball season that will be starting in June! He can't wait! The kid's a natural. We were practicing fielding grounders and he did it like he had been doing it for years.
Hadley loves her new basketball! See the tiredness. That's why I don't have to many pictures of the Easter Baskets.
These are some Bunny Sweet Rolls I made. Looked cute, tasted ok. I am NOT the best bread maker that is for sure!

Easter Sunday was wonderful. I love doing all the "worldly" stuff on Saturday so we can focus all of Easter Sunday on the Savior. I was able to be a part of a wonderful sharing time about the resurrection. My testimony was once again strengthened of the reality that my Savior Lives. That he lived a perfect life, atoned for our sins, and was killed on the cross. But that was not the end. On Easter morn, he rose from the grave, conquering death. I love having a testimony of a living Savior, because it gives me the knowledge I need to know that I will see my sister Natalia again. I am so grateful for a loving Savior who has given me such a priceless gift of living with my family forever, if I live worthy of that privilege. What a Happy Easter indeed.
